We're delving into what lies ahead for Atlanta's BeltLine jewel, Amsterdam Walk.
Project Details
-
Beltline Access
Amsterdam Walk spans 8 acres and is a hub for retail and entertainment.
Situated at the junction of the Virginia-Highland and Morningside neighborhoods, it's adjacent to the unpaved section of the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside trail, as well as Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We're seeking innovative ideas for the redevelopment of Amsterdam Walk.
-
Transportation
The expectations regarding Atlanta's urban setting are shifting.
There's a growing need for expanded outdoor spaces and increased pedestrian and bicycle-friendly areas. Transit accessibility and convenience hold significant importance for Atlanta residents. As our neighborhood progresses, Amsterdam Walk will also evolve to meet these changing demands.
-
Live, Work, Thrive
For the past 35 years, Halpern Enterprises, a longstanding family-owned business deeply connected to Atlanta, has been the owner of Amsterdam Walk.
We are collaborating with all stakeholders to investigate superior uses for the property, envisioning it as a gateway to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside trail, Piedmont Park, Atlanta Botanical Garden, and a potential forthcoming transit station.
